Xander is the founder of “Light Tribe”, an outfit that works with neuroscientists and designers to improve the health and wellbeing of people in the built environment.

He holds the role of Sustainability Director and Chief Technical Officer at Phos Light and has recently published a book on the neuroscience of light and biophilic design titled “The Light Within Us’.

Passionate about the power of light and positive design, he presents his work to design practices, education institutes and government bodies around the world with the aim of positively affecting the habitats in which humans being spend 90% of their time (indoors).
