With over twenty-five years’ of experience in the field of lighting design Deb Wythe has been involved with numerous high-end lighting projects gaining valuable knowledge in this specialist subject.   

Deb first played with light on the Furniture and Related Product Design degree at Ravensbourne College where her experiments earned her an RSA award for one of her lighting designs. After graduating her passion for light led to private commissions and roles with a couple of lighting manufacturers before she joined Lighting Design International under Sally Storey. 

 During her eight years at LDI she progressed to Associate level working on both international and domestic projects, heading up her own team and was recognized in several prestigious lighting awards. Deb was also an Associate Lecturer at Central St Martins for nine years along side her practice.  

 In 2010 Deb founded Design In Progress as a small creative studio with a personal approach. This award-winning studio collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams of leading architects, interior designers and private clients on high–end residential and commercial schemes as well as light art.
